I have been taking my dog to Red Hydrant for over 10 years. I truly can not say enough good things about Red Hydrant and the owners. I always know without a doubt she is in excellent hands when I drop her off. It is obvious when you see them interact with the animals they truly love what they do and take extra care of our babies. They go above and beyond to make my sweet dog feel safe and loved while being groomed. I will drive whatever distance to make sure my dog is groomed at Red Hydrant.
The Red Hydrant and their team have been our groomers and boarders for the past seven years. We have used their Grooming services, the Daycare and the boarding services for our three Shih-Tzus. The team has provided outstanding services. We have only one Shih-Tzu now, a rescue named Howie. Howie came to us when he was about a year old and has issues with fear aggression. The team at Red Hydrant have loved him into trust and love. Howie jumps from the car when we get to The Red Hydrant and I always know he is being well cared for. I never worry when he is with the wonderful team at The Red Hydrant Pet Spa.
Only Place I would Recommend. My mother in-law came into town and wanted her Springer Spaniel groomed and pampered for the day. The service was excellent and staff super friendly and knowledgeable. On their next visit we ended up boarding her when we all left town for a weekend. Our puppy came back clean and quite happy. Really good feeling to know your best friend is in good hands.
Red Hydrant is the best groomer we have ever found and over the years we have tried quite a few. They treat our dog like royalty. He loves going there and walks in the door just like he is at home.
My dogs have been going to Red Hydrant every other week for almost 13 years. I have never once thought about taking them anywhere else because I have had only great experiences. Roman and Martin are terrific people who genuinely care about the dogs in their care. The indoor play yard is a HUGE bonus for the dogs. They get to socialize and play with other dogs. And my dogs come home looking BEAUTIFUL!!
I would recommend Red Hydrant to anyone. The employees and owners treat my dog with so much love and care I have no hesitation about leaving her for any amount of time. They also have daycare and it is clean and indoors. My dog goes at least once a week to see all of her friends and stay socialized. They have the cutest little boutique as well where you can get any pet needs as well as decor for your home. It’s the best and we are so fortunate we found Red Hydrant! I can not say enough about this place.
The Red Hydrant is the only place I will take my dog! I drove from Bradenton to have my dog groomed here. I have a rescue collie who is nervous when left and the owners made him not only feel comfortable and happy but also beautifully groomed 😊🐕 Thank you Red Hydrant for the love and care you show your furry clients!!
Grooming, daycare, boarding - all top notch. The owners and their staff truly care about your dogs and love them like their own! And the items in the boutique are perfect for gifts for friends, your pet or to treat yourself!
My dog comes here for daycare and he absolutely loves it! I’ve brought him to other daycare facilities before and he always came home smelling like urine. He never smells when he comes home from The Red Hydrant. This is the cleanest and nicest grooming / daycare facility that I’ve been to. The entire staff is very friendly. The groomers put out top quality haircuts and my dog always comes home with a cute bandana 🙂

The Red Hydrant exceeds ALL expectations!! The entire staff is amazing and I cannot imagine ever going anywhere else!! Our dog, Bailey, always gets so many compliments on how beautiful she is and everyone can’t wait to see what bows she’s modeling for the week! From the products to the accessories, they only use the best of everything!! If you have never gone there, you are definitely missing out!! Do yourself and your dog a favor and give them a try!! WE LOVE THE RED HYDRANT! And a side note...they have the most amazing gift ideas in their boutique!!

Daisy loves playing with friends at doggie daycare. Red Hydrant provides a safe, fun place for her to spend the day one or two times a week. I know she will be cared for and loved! Thank you!
We have been taking our Tonka here for over a year and before it was our sweet Minnie. The people at The Red Hydrant are the absolute best. Out Tonka is a rescue dog and has abandonment issue but he has no problems going to The Red Hydrant. It gets excited just hearing that we are going ! If you want great people taking care of your furry friend go to The Red Hydrant.
Martin and his staff have been keeping my Josie (Labradoodle) beautiful for 8 years. Before we discovered The Red Hydrant I literally tried every salon in Land o Lakes/Lutz. Apparently, doodle grooming is a fine art and Martin is the master.

Today was my 14 year old Miniature Schnauzers Sunita’s first visit to The Red Hydrant. Great first impression entering the shop and being greeted by Roman. Martin did an amazing transformation on my very nervous fur baby. We will definitely be returning . Thank You 🐾🐾
We recently moved to the area and I was referred to Red Hydrant. I could not have been happier with my experience. My dog was overdue for a grooming and I didn’t expect him to look as beautiful as he did when he was done. More importantly he was calm and not stressed when he was done. This has truly been the best grooming experience my dog and I have had. Red Hydrant is clean, cute, professional, and most importantly all the animals in there seem calm and happy. What a pleasant surprise to see what a lovely friendly place the Red Hydrant is. It is so clean and neat and offers so many great services to the pets. It’s going to be even more exciting to see the new kennels behind the facade of shops and town services. The new cameras offering us a chance to visit and talk with our pets along with sending them treats when we are away will add a great.feeling of comfort to us when we leave our pets while on vacation.
